Virginia Cartwright demonstrates her techniques of making spouts, lids, and handles without the use of a potter's wheel. She forms three of her delicate hand built teapots, and shows examples of other artists' work from her collection. Virginia has taught ceramics for over twenty five years and has exhibited her work throughout the United States and abroad. Her work is included in many permanent collections including the Smithsonian in Washington D.C., and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. This video is suitable for beginning as well as advanced students.
